Question was about ridding not racing. Everybody knows Sports are way faster! But most trails have speed limitations & I'll have your butt thrown off SSRT for reckless irresponsible speed and ridding. Don't get me wrong I love the thrill of speed and have activily persued it most my life but not on trail I've seen tragedys as a result.I would really enjoy racing an LTz 450 or a run on one of those awsome 700s(with nitrous) but on the track or in the open where its a safer proposition. So to sum it up and for what its worth Utilitys RULE!! Sports Drool! LOL!!!!

The GNCC tracks that I have been on have been far rougher than any trail ride that I have ever been on. As far as speed goes, an average GNCC race takes 3 hours to complete and distance covered is about 45-60 miles, that comes out to be an average speed of 15-20 mph (slower than most trail rides). 4wd may be good for deep mud and snow, but when it comes to off camber trails and steep hill climbs, the utilities just can't seem to hang. To each their own I guess. I am a huge sport quad advocate and can't stand having to ride a utility for more than cleaning out trails, but then again, every one has their own taste and style. What matters in the end is that we are all out there riding.

Scott that dang Wylee has it made hes got both the brat! lol I don't follow the racing so I didn't know they were that long in distance and time. I can say if you ride 20mph on alot of the mountain trails I ride you and your machine will both be torn up to say the least. In the end you ride what you want and you're the one paying for it so the heck with what others say! I fully agree that its about getting out ridding and the comradarie, so when should I expect to see you at the SSRT,on the 21st maybe then we can ride have fun and argue some more!LOL!!! See Ya Out There!

Not until spring time, I hope to be snowmobiling that weekend. I defintely can't wait to get out there once the snow melts though and I look foward to going on one of your rides.

OMG! you're more brat than wylee! 4x4,Sport,& Snowmobile!!Snowmobiles allowed on SSRT only $15 a year. Better enjoy while the snows here, snowmobiles have short season thats one of the reasons I got into ATV rather than snowmobile again. About 4-6 week use last few years and ATV 52 weeks a year! By the way when you do come to ride how do I tell you from other sport quad ridders, will you wear a different color skirt than the other sporters? LOL!!! BaaaHaaaaHaaaaHaaaaa!!!
